Wen tagged me the other day on this subject of housechores. What would be my most hateful housework of all?
I remember that my mom used to squat down and scrub every piece of clothing and then rinsed them off one by one by hand. I’m amazed that even now she still does it as she has the thinking that the washing machine does not do a good job at making the clothes clean.
Yet, here I am with so many modern appliances at my disposal and still I complain. Clothes are dumped into a washing machine and if I’m too lazy to hang them to dry, I can simply turn on the dryer. If I don’t feel like turning on the stove to cook, I resort to the microwave. I’m even contemplating buying a clothes steamer, so opening up an ironing board can be a thing of the past.
I don’t know, maybe as humans we are getting lazier and if all these appliances are taken away from me, I think I will go crazy as a stay-at-home mom.
Anyway, what I don’t particularly enjoy of all housechores is cooking. Cooking means I have to go to the supermarket and pick up a few things, wash, cut, marinate, boil, stew or do whatever that needs to be done on them before having to wash all the cooking utensils. If it is true that the key to a man’s heart is through his tummy, my husband would have been long gone by now!!
Luckily, my husband is not fussy and he eats whatever I dish out. But then, there is someone else who is complaining now… my 3-year-old son!!

Usually, when people think of a vacation spot, Europe seems like a very popular choice. Perhaps the different countries and cultures all within one small continent make it very convenient to travel around.
But if you are looking for more adventurous vacation destinations, consider South America. For instance, if you join some of the Brazil vacation packages, you can travel along the Amazon, trek in the lush rainforests, marvel at the sandy beaches or participate in its Carnival festivity. In fact, Brazil is renowned for its ecotourism due to the presence of the Amazon forest which houses 60% of all of earth’s life forms.
So, if you are looking for something different when it comes to a vacation, try a more tropical destination. It will surely be a vacation to remember.

I remember reading that research findings indicate that men think of sex pretty often. I guess some must think it is true since I found this note here:

No doubt, men and women may see things differently and the way our minds work may also be dissimilar. I find that generally women have lots to talk about and our brains seem to easily skip from one topic to another.
Which brings me to this picture of a dating couple. The woman has a multitude of things running through her mind from shopping to a pet but all that the man could think of is sex.

Picture from pYzam.com
I suppose we can’t exactly say that these pictures represent how men think but it is certainly good for some light-hearted humor. Find them funny or true in any way?

We all want to look good and having acnes on our faces is certainly something we all could do without. Some people are just born with a smooth face that requires little care. Even through the teenage years or undergoing whatever kind of stress, their faces can still be smooth without a single pimple.
But for many of us, we are not so lucky. Acnes appear frequently or at random intervals that we need acne treatments. And the problem with searching for a solution is that different acne treatments consist of different ingredients that may work on some but not others.
For instance, some people find the Proactiv acne cream to be a little too dry for their skin while others feel it works well for them. Therefore, if you are searching for a acne cream, you may just have to resort to trial and error to find one that works for you.

I know most would think it is common sense when it comes to signs that your partner is cheating. But it is enlightening just the same to read what others have to contribute to this topic.
And one that gets frequent mention on the web when it comes to cheating is when your partner suddenly buys you gifts. Well, it is the result of guilt that gifts become a way to lessen that uncomfortable feeling in the cheater.
So, the next time your partner suddenly surprise you with a gift, is that a reason to beware?
Personally, I think it’s quite sad if I receive a gift with happiness only to find out later it is all a lie. It would even be worse than acting cold and buying me no gifts at all!
Anyway, Dr. Robert Huizenga, a Infidelity Coach, has several funny tell-tale signs that your partner is cheating:
- He throws up a lot because he just ate at his mistress’s house and had to eat the dinner you prepared when he got home.
- He has a sudden desire to be helpful with the laundry.
- You find birth-control pills in her medicine cabinet, and you’ve had a vasectomy.
The last one would certainly hurt a lot, don’t you think?

Most women live through it. The PMS difficulties every month from bloated stomach to mood swings affect many women with the only difference being the severity. Then there is the transitional phase in a woman’s life with menopause and the resultant problems it brings.
Of course there are many remedies as well for these problems from herbal teas to medical prescriptions to lessen the hormonal imbalance. They are a necessity for many people who suffer from severe symptoms during these phases.
In recent years, people are also flocking to natural products such as progesterone creams. Because natural products have no chemical additives, they are becoming increasingly popular. It is fortunate that with the research into this area, women can benefit and find natural relief from this age-old problem.

Do you feel that generally men can wear the same few shirts and perhaps the same pair of shoes day in and day out? I doubt my brother has bought himself a new shirt for the last 1 to 2 years while my husband likes to confine himself to 3 t-shirts or so each time we go out.
I think many girlfriends and wives actually end up shopping for their partners’ clothes. Or at least, prompt them to buy whenever they have a chance to go shopping together.
So, it’s kind of interesting for a little confession from the women:
Do you find yourself ending up buying clothes for your partner?
